Recently, the list of winners for the 2025 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award was officially announced. The project "Key Technologies and Applications of Forming Equipment for High-Value Utilization of Diversified Solid Waste Resources into Simulated Stone Products," led by Fujian Quangong Machinery Co., Ltd., won the third prize for technological progress. This award-winning project addresses the industry challenge of "large-scale, high-quality utilization of diversified solid waste," including industrial and construction solid waste. It focuses on the comprehensive requirements of simulated stone products in municipal construction, landscape architecture, and road engineering, including appearance quality, mechanical properties, and stable production. The project systematically overcame key technical bottlenecks such as poor adaptability of solid waste raw materials, insufficient molding consistency, and difficulty in balancing product decorative effects and structural strength, forming a replicable and scalable system of forming equipment and process technology for simulated stone products.
