The thickness calibration unit features a dual-head design that combines cutting and finishing in a single pass. The cutting head removes excess material to achieve consistent product thickness, while the finishing head smooths the back surface, reducing rough pressing marks and waviness. Large-diameter grinding discs help minimize wave-like surface defects and maintain high flatness across the entire working width.
After back-surface calibration, products can be rotated 180° by an automatic turning device before entering the front-surface grinding process. Multiple processing stations progressively grind the product from rough grinding to fine grinding, achieving the required final thickness and surface finish. An optional polishing module is available for applications requiring superior surface quality.
